GBD was engaged to develop a national, small business development program and infrastructure for the Government of Tunisia in northern Africa, subject to financial and program review by the US State Department and SBA.

Minority Business Development, US Department of Commerce: July 1, 2024 to present: Consultant engaged to provide management, advisory, and consulting services to MBDA in connection with the implementation and operation of the agency’s “FY 23 Non-Competitive Rural Business Supplements” grant (NCRBS grant) in Eastern and Central Washington.
- Multi-Ethnic Business Association (d/b/a/ AHANA), Spokane, WA, August 2022 to July 2023:
Consultant engaged to provide consulting, RFP proposal development, and project management for a Technical Assistance and Small Business Grant Program in Eastern and Central WA. Yakima County Development Association was subcontracted to service Central WA. $2,000,000 in federal funding was awarded by the WA Dept. of Commerce to develop and implement the Program.
Eastern & Central WA BIPOC Economic Summit 11/15/2022: Lead Organizer in collaboration with the Multi-Ethnic Business Association (AHANA); OIC of Washington, and Seattle University.
September - November 2019: Provided consultation to develop $6.2 million for OMWBE’s supplemental budget, including consultation for organizational development and change management plans.
April 1, 2022 - July 31, 2022: GBD was engaged under a second contract to provide consultation and assistance in the development of budget decision packages for the OMWBE bi-annual supplemental budget 2019 submission. GBD also provided consultation on organizational development and change management plans for the agency.

GBD provided drafting & technical assistance for the I-1000 & I-1300 Campaigns. Both prohibited discrimination in employment, contracting, education, law enforcement, and public health & safety, including responses to COVID-19, they promoted Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in WA State.
PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT
GBD developed the organizational structure for a new Community Preservation and Development Authority (CPDA). This included plans for facility improvements and title transfer of the SVI from Seattle Central College to the CPDA

GBD was the Developer for the development, design and construction for the Cannon House Senior Assisted Living Residence. GBD was also engaged as Property Management Agent after construction was completed.
